The show goes on: Kealakehe Intermediate School May Day queen performs for family

Hulali Kamaka’anuenue Moheafetia Patacsil on Friday was supposed to perform at Kealakehe Intermideate School as May Day Queen.

Instead, she put on her own performance at her grandmother’s residence in Kalaoa. Her maternal grandmother, Myradean Abraham, was also a former May Day Queen. As well as her grandmother from her father’s side, Lehua Libarios.

Hulali danced “Mele Ohana” as her solo to show thanks and love to her family. It was her way of showing appreciation for her upbringing and the love she receives everyday.
