Police locate missing girl, 13, in good health

UPDATE: Chaliah Caitano was located in good health at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday in Hilo.

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old Puna girl who was reported missing.

According to the Hawaii Police Department, Chaliah Caitano was last seen around 6:30 a.m. May 6 in the Mountain View area. She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with medium length black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an army-green hoodie and black spandex pants, carrying a large black Nike bag.
