Police seek identity of theft suspect

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in a theft that occurred earlier this month in the Kealakekua/Kainaliu area.

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in a theft that occurred earlier this month in the Kealakekua/Kainaliu area.

Around 4 p.m. May 12, Hawaii Police Department officers received a report that an unknown female had left a clothing store in the 79-000 block of Mamalahoa Highway without paying for several items.

The suspect is described as having a tan complexion and a large build. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue “Adidas” letters and logo and blue jean pants.
