Health officials reported no new cases of COVID-19 as of noon Firday.
In addition, five previsouly reported positive cases — two on Oahu and one each on Hawaii Island, Maui and Kauai — were dropped from the count after a review of test results showed these cases to be indeterminate. That leaves the total cumulative count of COVID-19 cases since Feb. 28, at 642, according to the state Department of Health.
Of the cases to date, 585 have since recovered and been released from isolation, according to the department.
On Hawaii Island, 81 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Five people remained in isolation as of noon Friday, according to the department. One person has required hospitalization.
Meanwhile, Oahu has seen 414 cases while Maui and Kauai counties have recorded at 115 and 20 respectively. Ten of the cases are Hawaii residents diagnosed outside the state of Hawaii.
Statewide, the coronavirus-related death toll stands at 17 — 11 on Oahu and six on Maui. Eighty-two people — or 13% — have been hospitalized.
