Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday, bringing Hawaii’s case total to 900.
Both of the new cases were adult Oahu residents, according to the COVID-19 Joint Information Center.
With the new cases, Oahu has now recorded 638 positive COVID-19 cases. Kauai and Maui held steady at 37 and 122.
Hawaii Island has reported 87 cases since Feb. 28. Three of those people remained in isolation as of noon Monday, according to the center.
Of the 900 Hawaii residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, 722 of those cases have recovered and been released from isolation. Statewide, 111 patients have required hospitalization, including two on Hawaii Island.
Eighteen people have died from the novel coronavirus, according to the center. Twelve of the deaths were on Oahu and six on Maui.
