Marcellino Torricer

Marcellino “Cino” Torricer, 83, of Hilo, died June 27, 2020 at his residence. Born Jan. 5, 1937, in Kukuihaele, he was a Circuit Court reporter and an administrative assistant to Judge Kubota in Hilo, former owner of JAC Video Inc. and a member of several Elvis Presley Fan Clubs.

Contributions in his memory can be made to The Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles, 1407 Kapiolani St., Hilo, HI 96720 or Hawaii Care Choices, formerly Hospice of Hilo, 1011 Waianuenue Ave., Hilo, HI.

He is survived by wife, Judith Holyoke Torricer of Hilo; daughter, Aimee (Brian) Arase of Hawaii; son, Arthur (Jane) Torricer of Hilo; three grandchildren; sister, Magdalena Adarme-McLean of Kona; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Lauren Waters

Lauren Marie Waters, 62, of Hilo died July 31, 2020, at her residence. Born in Ontonagon, Michigan, she was a mental health social worker for the State of Hawaii Department of Mental Health and a political activist.

She is survived by husband, Brent Hightower of Hilo; daughter, Adria Hightower of Hilo; brothers, Glenn Waters, Dion Waters and Daniel Waters of Ewen, MI; sister, Linnea Waters of Ewen, MI; numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul Bueltmann Jr.

Paul Ellis Bueltmann Jr., 79, of Pahoa, died July 22, 2020 at home. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was a retired civil service worker (KMCAS), a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a Hamm Radio Operator as KH6GKK.

Private services held.

He is survived by wife, Jinny Apique Bueltmann of Pahoa; son, Paul Bueltmann III of Keaau; daughter, Jinny (Hizson) Tripp of Hilo; brother, Richard (Gloria) Bueltmann of Winfield, MI; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dexter Lee

Dexter Yun Kong Lee, 73, of Pahala, died July 9, 2020 at home. Born in Pahala, he was a retired employee for the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation.

He is survived by aunts, Betty Shimabukuro, Ester Nishiguchi, and Frieda Lee; uncle, Herbert (Myrtle) Zane; nephew Michael Lee; and numerous cousins.

Donnie Borero

Donnie Jean Kamalani (Stremski) Borero, 57, of Keaau, died July 14, 2020 at her residence. Born Sept. 18, 1962, in Hilo, she was a retired cashier for Safeway in Hilo.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 21 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo. Casual attire. Condolences may be sent to the Stremski Ohana at HCR1 Box 4093; Keaau, HI 96479.

She is survived by children, Donovan Takei-Stremski of Aiea, Oahu, and Rocky (Keani) Takei and Esther Stremski-Borero, all of Hilo; father, Donald Stremski of Hilo; sisters, Holly (Gary) Abulon of Mililani, Oahu, and Hope Ann (Peter Woods) Stremski of Torrance, CA; two grandchildren; hanai brothers, Dominic (Aulani) Uyetake Jr. and Mikey Dean Uyetake of Hilo; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Janice Kekauoha

Janice (Miulana) Nahiileinaniokuku (Thomas) Kekauoha, 83, of Hilo, died Aug. 2, 2020 at her residence. Born Jan. 30, 1937, in Waipio Valley, she was a librarian at the Lanakila Study Center and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Kilauea and Keaukaha wards) and Kaumana Senior Center.

Services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by daughter, Beatrice (Fono) Masoe of Hilo; son, Eldon (Amie) Kekauoha of California; sister, Nellie Angelo of Kukuihaele; brother, Jacob Thomas of Honokaa; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marilyn Sizemore

Marilyn “Ginger” Virginia Sizemore, 76, of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, died July 25, 2020, at her residence. Born Feb. 10, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the former owner of several boutiques and collectible art stores in Honolulu, an artist, jewelry designer and member of Ocean View Evangelical Church.

She is survived by a sister, a brother, nieces, a nephew and many friends.
