Fugitive wanted for child sex assault arrested in Pahoa

A 40-year-old Pahoa man is in police custody awaiting a court hearing after being arrested on a warrant stemming from a child sex assault case in Washington.

On Monday morning, Eric Sean Roloson was arrested without incident, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Roloson was wanted on two counts of first-degree child rape and two counts of first-degree child molestation in connection with a case in Cowlitz County, Washington.

He is being held at the police cellblock without bail, pending his initial court appearance scheduled today.
