Lily Iguchi

Lily Shigemi Iguchi, 91, of Kealakekua, died Aug. 15, 2020 at a private care home. Born June 25, 1929, in Kainaliu, she was a bookkeeper at the Kona Hukilau and Kona Seaside hotels.

No services will be held.

She is survived by daughters, Jenny (Dain) Ushiroda and Patti (Mark) Aoki of Kealakekua; brother, Francis (Grace) Iwamoto of Kailua-Kona; sister, Mabel Tam of Virginia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

John Fuellas

John James Fuellas, 90, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 26, 2020 at his residence. Born Sept. 1, 1929, in North Kohala, he was a retired park guide at Lapakahi State Historical Park, tractor operator for Kohala Sugar Co., and a member of the Kohala Senior Citizens Club, Kohala Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, St. Michael’s and Sacred Heart Catholic churches.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by daughters, Myrna (Robin) Amarino of Holualoa, and Janis (Kerry) Kanetani of Kurtistown; brother, Ben (Helen) Fuellas of Honolulu; sister, Shirley Uchima of Hilo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Kay Jung

Kay Lorraine Jung, 78, of Waimea, died Aug. 23, 2020, at her home. Born March 24, 1942, at Fort Meade, South Dakota, she worked in human resources at Warner Electric.

Services will be held in South Dakota.

She is survived by brothers, Gary Huffman, of San Diego, and Darcy Kuronen, of Boston; son, Todd Jung of Laplata, Missouri; daughter, Tina Jung of Rockford, Illinois; daughter, Pamela Luepkes of Waimea; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
