Police seek public’s help locating runaway teen

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile female who was reported as a runaway.

Seventeen-year-old Destiny Espinueva-Moreno was last seen around 8 p.m. Aug. 17 in the Hilo area, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with thin build, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray pants and a black jacket.
