A 32-year-old Hilo man is facing reckless endangering and firearms offenses stemming from a reported shooting Friday in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Hilo.

Bronson Lee Kaleolani Oili was charged Tuesday with first-degree reckless endangering, ownership or possession (firearm) prohibited, and carrying or possession of a loaded firearm on highway prohibited, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Bail was set at $60,000.

The charges stem from an incident at an apartment complex off Waianuenue Avenue, where Oili was involved in an altercation with another man and reportedly discharged a firearm, according to police.

Police said no reported injuries from the incident.
