Why all the hate?
Recently, I had the honor of attending a Donald J. Trump campaign rally makai of Queen Kaahumanu Highway, a bit north of Henry Street. With my red cap on and my new American flag a-flying, I was shocked at all the hatred that came my way. With all of the offensive hand gestures and the obscene language shouted my way, it made me wonder what happened to the aloha spirit.
Firstly, our great president Donald J. Trump and his beautiful wife, Melania’s storybook marriage should be an example of what marriage can and should be. The dashing handsome business man and the beautiful fashion model, what a great representation of America. The accomplished children, Ivanka works tirelessly for charitable causes and can be compared in every way to Mother Teresa. The brilliant author Don Jr., whose writing achievements are legendary in literary circles worldwide with his first book being a national best seller before it was even published. Let’s not forget the genius of private advisors, Eric and Tiffany, who our great president confers regularly on important matters that effect all Americans.
The Trump family are truly great Americans whose selflessness is a true example of what Americans can aspire to be. So, why all the hate from the Aloha State?

What the heck is going on here?
First, President Donald Trump creates and expounds yet another unfounded conspiracy that the election will be rigged, that balloting by the states, notably mail-in ballots, will be fraudulent, etc. Then, with great regret, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passes away weeks before the national election.
Contrary to prior practice and promise, the White House and Republican-controlled Senate then insist the vacant seat be filled before the election rather than leave it up to the next president. Why the need for nine justices beforehand? Because there will be lots of fraud with the election results and eight justices could cause a deadlock.
The end justifies the means, I guess.

End the war on drugs
You know what killed Breonna Taylor? The war on drugs killed her. And how many others? This is why police are so overfunded. This war is over. We lost. And the only way we can regain our sanity is to end this war. Prohibition makes a criminal of a person who is not a criminal. All this war on drugs has done is make a lot of pushers very rich and a lot of formerly honest cops dishonest. We are paying billions of dollars a year to allow police to do this to us. That money could be used for much better things. The war on drugs is the root cause of untold misery in our country. End the war on drugs and Make America Great Again.
