Online auction benefits Daifukuji Soto Mission

The Daifukuji Soto Mission will host an online auction this year in place of its annual bazaar.

The temple, which is one of the oldest existing structures in Kona, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has received recognition as a Kona Heritage Building by the nonprofit organization Pulama Ia Kona. Along with the temple, is the resident minister’s house, the cultural hall, the social hall, kitchen and grounds. The auction helps raise funds to ensure the buildings are maintained.

Online bidding is slated 9 a.m. Thursday to 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at https://www.32auctions.com/Temple2020.
