Hawaii Island police are searching for a 14-year-old Hilo boy who has been reported as a runaway.

Kealii Kaniho was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 when he left the Salvation Army Interim Home in Kailua-Kona, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

He is described as being approximately 5 feet, 5inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He last seen wearing black jeans shorts, a black camouflage windbreaker and no shoes.
