UPDATE: Big Island police reported Friday that 15-year-old Kealii Kaniho, who was reported as a runaway in January, was located in good health Thursday in South Kohala.

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Hilo boy who was reported as a runaway.

Keali‘i Kaniho, 15, was last seen around 9:15 p.m. Jan. 11 in Hilo, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, blue jeans, and slippers and has “Kaniho” tattooed on his back.
