Old Navy opens second store on Big Isle

Old Navy opened its second store on the Big Island and sixth store in the state on Feb. 13.

The grand opening of the new Old Navy store at Kona Commons was celebrated with a traditional Hawaiian blessing performed by the Rev. Danny Akaka Jr., the son of late U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka.

Additionally, a few members of the local Boys and Girls Club of America Hawaii chapter attended and received four brand new bikes and a $500 donation from the store team.

Old Navy is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
