The Isaacs Art Center at Hawaii Preparatory Academy and the Hawaii Wood Guild announce the extension of the 2021 Masters Invitational Show through March 25. The exhibit is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Isaacs Art Center has hosted the Hawaii Wood Guild’s annual Masters Invitational Show since 2009. This year’s exhibition features furniture, sculptures, and wood art by noted island artisans — Marcus Castaing, Kelly Dunn, Mike Felig, Mats Fogelvik, Aaron Hammer, Scott Hare, Cliff Johns, Tai Lake, Duane Millers, John Mydock, Tom O’Connor, Gregory Paul, David Reisland, Paul Schuerch, Timothy Shafto, Michael Patrick Smith, Robert Woodward, and David Young — that reflect innovative materials and techniques.

“We are looking forward to another extraordinary Hawaii Wood Guild show in this unique time,” said Mollie Hustace, director of the Isaacs Art Center. “We are thrilled to have so many noted artists participating with more than 50 exquisite works on display, and we invite everyone to enjoy this spectacular exhibit.”

IAC features some of the finest Hawaiian and Asian art from the 19th and 20th centuries. All items in the show are available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the HPA Financial Aid Program.
