Police locate Puna man, 95, who was reported missing

Update: Big Island police reported Tuesday that 95-year-old Toyoki Morimoto, who was reported missing Monday, was located Tuesday morning in Hilo in good health.

Big Island police are searching for 95-year-old Toyoki Morimoto, who was last seen on Monday in the Orchidland subdivision in Puna.

Morimoto walked away from his residence and is in need of medication, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as being Japanese, 5 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds, bald with brown eyes.

Morimoto was last seen wearing a beige cap, blue/brown checkered jacket, blue jean shorts, and sandals, according to police.
