Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Maycee Ahsui-Mendoza of Pahoa who was reported as a runaway.

Ahsui-Mendoza was last seen at 8 p.m. March 28 in the Kea‘au area wearing a gray and white hoodie style sweatshirt, blue jean pants, and black tennis shoes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She is described as being of Filipino descent, 5 feet tall, weighing between 100 pounds and 135 pounds, with shoulder-length dark brown hair and brown eyes.
