KHPC hosts the Hand of Friendship tournament
The Kona Horseshoe Pitcher’s Club hosted its 10th annual Hands of Friendship tournament at the Kona Palms courts on April 24. Also participating were players from Oahu and a player from Connecticut.
Oahu player Shirley Perez and Connecticut player Hal Taylor faced off in the championship game with Perez defeating Taylor. She won the koa wood Hands of Friendship trophy and her name will be added to the trophy with past winners.
