Suzanne Bond

Suzanne H. Bond, 78, of Kailua-Kona, died April 10, 2021. Born March 23, 1944, she was the owner of Lajolla Beach and Tennis Club and Tennis Shop.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. May 29 at St. Michael the Archangel in Kailua-Kona for Mass.

She is survived by son, William Bond II, of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Cynthia Bond of Manhattan Beach, California; and two grandsons.

Wayne Kiwaha Sr.

Wayne Thomas Kiwaha Sr., 72, of Kealia, died April 21, 2021, at his residence. Born Sept. 12, 1948, in Kealakekua, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the State Highways Division, a former butcher for Kona Meat and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by wife, Emelia Kiwaha of Kealia; sons, Wayne (Joli) Kiwaha Jr. of Nevada and Wryen Kiwaha; daughters, Wrynna (Harry) Arruda, Wrendi (Troy) Omori; hanai son, Brian Dinson, all of Kealia; brother, Herbert Kiwaha Jr. of Honaunau; sisters, Victoria Dinson of Kealia and Jacqueline (Gilberto) Torres of Ewa Beach, Oahu; hanai brothers, George Cipriano of Kailua-Kona, Matthew (Pearl) Cipriano of California; hanai sisters, Geraldine (Calvin) Ely of Texas, Marilee (Kanaha) Alapai of Kailua-Kona, and Imogene Cipriano-Keka of Kealakekua; seven grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
