The real deal

As of this writing, the great Fernando Tatis Jr. is leading Major League Baseball in home runs with 16 dingers in 2021. This is incredible for Tatis was on the injured reserved for a positive COVID-19 test and a shoulder injury. In reality, Tatis has hit 16 home runs in about a month’s time which is incredible. In addition to Tatis’s amazing home run totals, he’s second in the league in stolen bases with 12 of them. Yes, he has the rare combination of power and speed. Yes, Tatis is young at the age of 22 and will only get better. Tatis is a once-in-a-millennium player and is exciting for the sport of baseball. In my heart and soul, Tatis is a first ballot Hall of Famer in the making. Enough said.
