A man was rescued Monday morning after falling while hiking near Boiling Pots in East Hawaii.

Responding to the 11:37 a.m. alarm, fire rescue personnel arrived at the Boiling Pots area of Wailuku River to find an injured man in his 20s on the embankment of the river after falling while hiking in the area, according to the Hawaii Fire Department.
