Man facing numerous charges following reported domestic in Pahoa

A 51-year-old Keaau man is facing burglary, terroristic threatening and firearms offenses following a reported domestic dispute Saturday in Pahoa.

Hawaii Police Department officers responded to the reported dispute at 8:19 a.m. Saturday and arrived at a residence on Oio Street to find a uninjured 37-year-old woman who reported she had been threatened by Raphael Solis, police said. Officers located and arrested Solis the following day at a residence on Paradise Drive in Keaau.

He was later charged with fourth-degree criminal property damage, first-degree burglary, first-degree terroristic threatening, place to keep pistol or revolvers, carrying or possessing a loaded firearm on public highway, permit to acquire and mandatory registration of a firearm. Bail was set at $73,000.
