Man sought for questioning in theft investigation

Big Island police are asking for the public’s assistance locating a 43-year-old Ka’u man wanted for questioning in connection with a theft investigation that occurred in Ka’u.

Chester Wooten Sr. is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 300 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is known to the frequent Kona and Ka’u areas.
