Felicia weakened to a tropical depression Tuesday as the former Category-4 hurricane entered the Central Pacific.
As of 11 a.m. Tuesday, Felicia was circulating 35 mph winds and traveling west-southwest at 16 mph some 1,075 miles east-southeast of Hilo, according to National Hurricane Center forecasters. Additional weakening is forecast and Felicia is expected to become a remnant low by Wednesday and pass far south of the state later this week.
Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Guillermo weakened to a post-tropical remnant low Tuesday about 1,110 miles off the southern tip of Baja California in the Eastern Pacific.
