Lynn Iokepa

Lynn Denise Hundley Iokepa, 57, of Kailua-Kona, died July 5, 2021, at her residence. Born July 22, 1963 in Hilo, she was a photographer and videographer for Dolphin Quest Hawaii, a surfer, musician and former paddler and member of the Keaukaha and Kawaihae canoe clubs.

Private service held.

She is survived by husband, Donald Iokepa Sr. of Kailua-Kona; children, Donald (Alicia) Iokepa Jr. of Honolulu, and Kevin Iokepa, and Jamie (Scott) Baltero all of Kailua-Kona; siblings, Lezli (Jeff Strength) Hundley-Strength of Colorado, Laura Hundley Kailua-Kona, Joel (Marla) Hundley of Nevada, and Gerry Quillopo of Ka’u; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christina Mavricakis

Christina M. Mavricakis, 91, of Kailua-Kona, died July 12, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Vinton, Iowa.

Private services. Donations suggested to Hospice of Kona.

She is survived by four children; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Patrick Riveira

Patrick Paul Riveira, 73, of Hawi, died July 9, 2021, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born March 17, 1948, in Hakalau, Hilo, he was a retired kitchen utility worker for the former Hyatt Waikoloa and a U.S. Army veteran.

Private service to be held at a later date.

He is survived by sons, Edrick (Amie) Riveira of Kailua-Kona, and Darius Riveira of Hawi; daughter, Leila Riveira of Pahoa; brothers, Bernard (Lucille Greenstreet) Riveira, and Lionel (Paulette) Riveira all of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Sandy Riveira-Valencia of New Mexico, and Gloria Riveira of Ewa Beach, Oahu; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tiana Deluna

Tiana Halialaulani Deluna, 55, of Kailua-Kona, died July 12, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1965, in Honolulu.

Services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by daughters, Malama Conn of Maui and Leai (Shawn Smith) Conn of Kailua-Kona; parents, Ray and Jacqueline Hill of Kailua-Kona; sister, Tiari (Freddy Baker) Kolowena; seven grandchildren; a sister; three great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

Gail Elliott

Gail Alethia Elliott, 69, of Kailua-Kona, died June 25, 2021, at her residence. Born Feb. 27, 1952, in Cleveland, she was a caregiver and member of Bible First Mission Church in Captain Cook.

She is survived by life partner, Billy Milliken of Kailua-Kona; children, David Milliken of California, Esther Milliken, Caleb (Ankea) Milliken all of Kailua-Kona, and Elizabeth (Tom) Fitzpatrick of Honolulu; sisters, Lorelei Banks of Washington, and Beth Benedek and Gallery Smith both of California; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Debra Raymond

Debra Miyoko Raymond, 64, of Honalo, died on July 14, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 29, 1956, in Kealakekua, she was a coffee farmer, homemaker, member of Kona Hongwanji Judo Club.

She is survived by husband, Rodney Raymond, of Honalo; mother, Matsue Ikeda, of Honalo; sons, Christopher (Nikki) Raymond of Hilo, and Justin (Kalena Spinola) Raymond; sister, Jasmine (Michael) Henriques all of Honalo; sister-in-law, Desiree Ikeda of Waikoloa;and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela Tagalicod

Angela Tagalicod, 71, of Pahoa, died July 25, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices. Born Oct. 17, 1949, in Olaa, she was a retired clerk typist for Vector Control, Environmental Health Services, Hawaii District.

Friends may call at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church for an 11 a.m. Mass.

She is survived by daughters, Michelle (Kurt Williams) Tagalicod of Hilo, Debbie (Victor Jose) Tagalicod and Nicole (Keith Bruins) of Pahoa, Tracey (Duane Fujiyama) Tagalicod of Keaau; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Marlene) Manzano of Pahoa and Eugene (Lynn) Manzano of Keaau; sister, Alicia Manzano of Ewa Beach, Oahu; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jeremy Song

Jeremy Gilbert Song, 74, of Hilo, died June 26, 2021. Born in Hilo, he was a retired business owner of Modern Shoe Repair.

A drive-through service will be held Aug. 19 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo.

He is survived by son, Timothy (Sara) Song; daughter, Jill Song; sisters, Enid Murty and Velma Burgado; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Kaileeann Santiago

Kaileeann Keonalani Koralee Santiago, 21, of Keaau, died July 8, 2021. She was born in Hilo.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. Aug. 7 for a service; burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park.

She is survived by mother, Rosenda Santiago; sisters, Hiiaka Sanitago, Rhianna Santiago, and Arianna Santiago; brothers, Darius Santiago and Jesse Santiago; maternal grandmother, Gloria Santiago; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tomeo Kanetani

Tomeo Kanetani, 90, of Kurtistown, died July 12, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility in Hilo. Born Nov. 21, 1930, in Hilo, he was a retired maintenance worker at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a member of the Kurtistown Jodo Mission and a U.S. Army veteran.

Private services held. The family requests flowers and koden (monetary offerings) be omitted.

He is survived by sons, Kane (Rebecca) Kanetani of Mililani, Oahu, and Keith (Moriel) Kanetani and Kerry (Janis) Kanetani, all of Kurtistown; brother, Masato Kanetani of Honolulu; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
