Actions should have consequences

If Lt. Gov. Josh Green is so concerned about unvaccinated people filling hospital beds, and putting an unjustified burden on health care workers, why not turn away those folks who refused a vaccine?

Now, I’m not saying that they shouldn’t have a say in what vaccine (or anything else!) they decide to put in their bodies; only with any action there are consequences.

Doesn’t it concern those individuals that they are taking up valuable space and resources that could be used for those patients who are admitted with symptoms not related to COVID-19? But perhaps their actions (or rather inaction) don’t concern anyone other than themselves.

It seems funny to me how all those people are so reliant on “God” to help them; they forgot to seek God’s help when they are ill with COVID. They instead rely on science and the medical community to solve their problems.

Just goes to show how good gods, and the various religious leaders are to get them out of a crisis.

Now I must go and pray for guidance. Maybe, just maybe, one day it will help! (But don’t hold your breath!).

A real head scratcher

The court ruled against me for not paying my gang-cesspool sewer bill. Two judges said that I have no standing in my own trial.

Any law professor can study the evidence, which I provided in my defense. Law students may learn what “standing” means, and how judges can decide that a county code supersedes state and federal statutes. I am still perplexed.

There is a lesson here to be learned by all Hawaii County citizens. This is a real head scratcher.
