Windermere C&H Properties recently donated $5,000 to the 808 Homeless Taskforce to benefit the community.

“We pride ourselves in our commitment to making an impact in our community where our clients and agents call home,” said Laura Flem, director of marketing and Windermere Foundation, the nonprofit wing of Windermere Real Estate companies.

For the past 32 years, the Windermere Foundation has donated a portion of the proceeds from every home purchased or sold toward supporting low-income and homeless families. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation serving families in need in Washington state has grown to encompass 10 states and has raised over $42 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance and other services who need help the most.
