Police locate missing Kailua-Kona man, 46

Update: The Hawaii Police Department reported Monday evening it had located Teddy John Miller, 46, who had been reported missing after last being seen Oct. 5 in Kona. He was located at a beach in Kona and taken to the hospital out of precaution.

The Hawaii Police Department is asking the community’s assistance in locating 46-year-old Teddy John Miller of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing by his family.

Miller was last seen around 1 p.m. Tuesday in Kailua-Kona operating a silver 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, bearing Hawaii license plate ZFD 867 near the intersection of Palani Road and Alii Drive, police said. He is described as being Caucasian, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes.
