Update: Hawaii Island police reported Wednesday that 40-year-old Ian Charles Resh of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing, was located in good health Tuesday in South Kohala.

Hawaii Island police are asking the community’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Ian Charles Resh of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing by his family.

Resh was last seen around 6:30 a.m. Saturday Kohanaiki Beach Park wearing a black T-shirt and board shorts, and carrying a black back pack, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

He is described as being Caucasian, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He has numerous visible tattoos on both of his arms.
