Brittney Waipa-Agudo

Brittney Nicole Waipa-Agudo, 32 of Honokaa, died Oct. 3, 2021 at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband, Dustin Agudo; daughter, Brianna Waipa-Alexander; parents, Richard Waipa and Marlyce Correira; brother, Zachary (Kanoe) Waipa; and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins

Mikhail Litvin

Mikhail Vasily Litvin, 65, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 9, 2021, at his residence. Born April 22, 1956, in Nickalayvka, Ukraine, he was an architectural designer.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by wife, Mariya Litvin of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Inna Litvin of Kailua-Kona, Victoria (Igor Neminov) Litvin of Sherman Oaks, California, and Tatiana Litvin of Newport Beach, California; and one grandchild.

Karen Klein

Karen Gorke Klein, 76, of Kailua Kona, died Oct. 8, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 7, 1945 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, she was a retired environmental chemist and a founding member of ADVOCATS.

Private service to be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to ADVOCATS, P.O. Box 4415, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.

She is survived by stepson, Richie Martinelli; and sister, Adrienne (Rick) Jensen all of California.

Arthur Kau

Arthur Kaanohi Kau, 74, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 31, 2021. Born Oct. 19, 1947, in Honolulu, he worked at the Kona Seaside Hotel and weas a member of the Hawaii National Guard.

He is survived by daughters, Karyn Kau (Jack Jr.) Keanaaina and Alexia Kau-Katz; four grandchildren; brother, Edward Kau Jr.; sister, Edwina Tanaka; half-brother, Allen Raymond and half-sister, Lavaina Chappel.

Clara Madariaga

Clara Fumika Madariaga, 83, of Hilo, died Oct. 8, 2021, at her residence. Born July 9, 1938, in Keaau, she was a pantry worker for the former Sheraton Waiakea Village, retired pantry worker for Hilo Medical Center, and member of Puna Covenant Church.

Private services held.

She is survived by husband, Frederick Madariaga of Hilo; son, Alan (Younghey) Madariaga of Las Vegas; daughter, Celia Madariaga of Tustin, Calif.; sister, Alice (George) Ishibashi of Torrance, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews.
