Paulette Ward

Paulette Carmen Ward, 73, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 20, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1948, in Paauilo, she was a retired accountant for Triple F Distributing and a former pre-school teacher for Mokuaikaua Pre-School.

Private services to be held. Monetary donations may be made to an organization of choice.

She is survived by son, Douglas Ward III of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Phillip (Sherry) Cabreros of Michigan, and Timmy (Joann) Cabreros of Paauilo; sister-in-law, Cy Cabreros of Honokaa; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna Texeira

Anna Texeira, 73, of Hilo, died Sept. 22, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 1, 1948, in Austria, she was proprietress of Business Automation, Inc. in Hilo, Hawaii.

Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for Mass. Condelences can be mailed to c/o Michael Texeira 299 Kukuau St., Hilo, HI 96720.

She is survived by husband, Michael Texeira of Hilo; daughter, Claudia Texeira of Orange County, California; sons, Jon Texeira, Nicholas Texeira and Matthew Texeira of Hilo; and 10 grandchildren.

Robert Ricci

Robert Joseph Ricci, 84, of Honokaa, died Oct. 28, 2021, at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a retired journalist for Reuters News Agency and had worked for Hawaii Public Radio.

No services.

He is survived by wife, Shigeyo Ricci; and sons, Omar Ricci and Paul Ricci.
