Flora Fukumitsu

Flora Michiko Tanima Fukumitsu, 85, of Holualoa died Nov. 2, 2021, at the Nakamaru Hale (Hospice of Kona). Born in Keauhou, she retired from KTA Super Stores and was a member of the Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and the Hongwanji Women’s Buddhist Association.

Private Services. The family requests no flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Interment at a later date.

She is survived by husband Kenji Fukumitsu of Keopu; sons, Ronald (Royenna) Yoshimura of Hilo and Gene (Crystal) Fukumitsu and Milton (Yoko) Fukumitsu. all of Holualoa; brother-in-law Isowo (Joanna) Fukumitsu of Pearl City, Oahu; sisters-in-law, Edna Fukumitsu of Kailua-Kona and Jean Fukumitsu of Kaneohe, Oahu; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pablito Ramos

Pablito Pagaduan Ramos, 84, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 25, 2021 at his residence. Born March 25, 1937, in Buenlag, Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines, he was a nursery worker for Greeters of Hawaii and Kona Nursery, and a landscaper.

Friends may call for visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 11 at Dodo Mortuary chapel; burial will follow at Alae Cemetery in Hilo. The family requests casual attire.

He is survived by wife, Isabel Ramos; daughter, Helen (Alan Jr.) Delatorre, all of Kailua-Kona; sons, Nario (Francisca) Ramos, Junior (Violeta) Ramos, Dante (Nancy) Ramos, Leonardo (Marites) Ramos, and Roger (Nelia) Ramos, all of the Philippines; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
