Genaro Juan

Genaro Gaoiran Juan, 79, of Waimea, died Jan. 23, 2022 at The Queen’s Medical Center. Born May 10, 1942, in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was employed at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

Services held.

He is survived by sons, Gene Juan and Lito Juan; brother, Roger (Concordia) Juan; three grandchildren; and a niece, nephew and grandnephew.

Roxanne Gouveia-Torres

Roxanne “Roxy” Aloha Martines Gouveia-Torres, 43, of Keaukaha, died on Feb. 12, 2022 at her residence. Born Oct. 3, 1978, in Hilo, she was a home health care worker for Bayada Home Health Care in Hilo and Easter Seals Hawaii.

Private services will be held a later date.

She is survived by husband, Harlen Kaeo Torres of Hilo; sons, Harlen Martines Gouveia-Torres and Hayden Martines Gouveia-Torres, both of Hilo; brother, Alan (Monica) Hudman of Paradise Park; sister, Amy Hudman of Honomu; brother, Andrew (Ashley) Hudman of Washington; hanai sister, Keahi Pavao of Hilo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Terrence Enanoria

Terrence Ken Enanoria, 57, of Honokaa died Feb. 12, 2022, in Honokaa. Born in Honokaa, he was an automotive mechanic, handyman, hunter and a member of the Hamakua Jodo Mission.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. March 11 at Hamakua Jodo Mission in Honokaa for a 4:30 p.m. service. Casual attire. Family requests no flowers or koden (monetary gifts).

He is survived by brother, Neil (Lolita) Gyotoku of Hilo; sister, Nicolette (Chris) Takashige of Honolulu; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

John Cerra

John Cerra, 68, of Ocean View, died Feb. 4, 2022 at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 20, 1953, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was a drug and alcohol counselor for Lokahi Treatment Center and a member of AA and NA Fellowship.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by companion Kathleen Cerra of Milolii; daughter, Michelle (Nathaniel) Nobles of Plymouth, Massachusetts; sisters, Audrey Cerra of Provincetown, Massachusetts, and Dawn (John) Lunnin of Whitman, Massachusetts; two grandchildren; and two nephews.

Rita Pascua

Rita Corpuz Pascua, 88, of Hilo, died Feb. 3, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 22, 1933 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, he was a retired nutpicker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 12 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire is requested.

She is survived by son, Juan (Abby) Pascua of Hilo; sisters, Petra Corpuz and Leonila Fernando, both of the Philippines; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
