Police ID body located in waters at Rainbow Falls

Big Island police have identified the body found Saturday in the water at Rainbow Falls in Hilo as 37-year-old Adam David Broom, of Hilo.

An autopsy was performed Tuesday morning on Broom, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The pathologist ruled out foul play; however, final autopsy results are pending toxicology testing.

Detectives with the Area I Criminal Investigation Section are continuing this investigation, which is currently classified as a coroner’s inquest.
