In these shaky times President Joe Biden should listen to Rudyard Kipling’s poem.

“If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you.

If you can trust yourself while all men doubt you, but make allowances for their doubting too”

It is time, my friend, to take a deep breath, to cool your jets and swallow your pride and a little honor with it.

It is time to forget John Wayne charging in, forget past wars and the way things used to be done. Time to be timid, thoughtful and peaceful.

Time to look like a chicken. Get slapped and turn the other cheek. Time to be Jesus and Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.

No more the tough guy thing, no more standing up to an enemy, time to sit down with him and talk.

There can’t be war any more. It can’t be won. It has to be erased from your thoughts. It’s an activity of the past, totally obsolete.

War is the end of everything. The winner gets the ashes, that’s about it.

Albert Einstein said it best,“If mankind is to survive we must adopt a whole new way of thinking.” We must think differently, all be on the same side.

We did the horrible math back in the ‘60s about the nuclear capabilities. How soon we forget that the U.S. and Russia, China, and North Korea can destroy the world in about two hours.

Turn it into a burning marshmallow.

We are at the edge, time to be quiet as a mouse, not say a word and pray. Dig deep into that aloha inside you and send it to mend it.

We must be angels, see like angels, talk like angels. Give in at every turn.

My friends, it is peace or nothing. A burnt out planet is the only prize of a conflict.

So pray Biden doesn’t get tough with Russia, extends a hand and a smile.

All of us are counting on that.

To President Biden and all leaders, “Keep your head while all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you. Trust yourself while all men doubt you but leave allowances for their doubting too.”

We are dealing with madness. Biden sounds like Bidin’ your time, Putin sounds like Satan. And you want to be real cool around him. Real cool.
