Nonprofit Keep Puako Beautiful is holding a Community Family Fun Day and Beach and Trail Cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon June 4 at Kawaihae Surf Park in South Kohala.
The event, being held in conjunction with National Trails Day, World Ocean Day and World Reef Day, will include a cleanup as well as partner exhibits, marine debris art booth, guessing games for prizes, and a snorkel to remove fishing line and marine debris.
Attendees are asked to take COVID precautions and respect others. Masking is encouraged when people are within six feet of each other. Volunteers should RSVP to keeppuakobeautiful@gmail.com.
