Pelagia “Fely” Nieto Chavez, 60, of Keaau, died June 27, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 8, 1961, in Bulacan, Philippines, she worked for Puna Certified Nursery.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. July 21, 2022 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 6 p.m. service. Cremation to follow. Urn committal service at a later date in the Philippines. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Rodolfo Chavez of Keaau; children, Aries (Irene) Chavez, Aaron (Jenylyn) Chavez, Rachell (Joel Candaroma) Chavez and Aldrin Chavez of Philippines; siblings, Bonifacio Robes Nieto and Lucila Robes Nieto of Philippines; grandchildren, Andrew Scott Chavez, Anjelo Rane Chavez and Chloe Kristen Candaroma of Philippines; a mother-in-law; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Felicidad Crivello
Felicidad “Sising” Candia Crivello, 91, of Hilo, died July 7, 2022 at her residence. Born Aug. 31, 1930 in the Philippines, she was an executive secretary at the Hilo International Airport and a former member of Bisayan Club.
Friends may call on July 20 at the Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keaukaha, visitation from 8 to 10 a.m.; service at 10. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed. a committal/burial service will be held at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 (Pavilion) at noon.
She is survived by brother, Carlos Rey (Rosana) Candia of Philippines; sisters in-law, Maria Candia of Hilo and Nuniela Candia of Philippines; and umerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Nicasio Juan
Nicasio Ventura Juan, 105, of Pahoa, died June 28, 2022, at his residence. Born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a retired laborer with Tanioka Transportation and Floral and a member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. July 22 at the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Mass at 1. Burial to follow at Pahoa Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire.
He is survived by daughters, Gloria Juan Aguinaldo, Josefina Juan Canete and Anacleta Juan (Alberto) Gantala, all of Pahoa; hanai son, Henry (Noralyn) Juan of Keaau; hanai daughter, Melanie Juan Canete of Ewa Beach, Oahu; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Nancy Kinoshita
Nancy Pauline Nawahineokalai “Archie” Kinoshita, 85, of Mountain View, died June 13, 2022 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care in Hilo. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and member of the Mountain View congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Services will be held July 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Mountain View Kingdom Hall and via Zoom (Zoom ID: 860-405-690, Passcode: 83182022).
She is survived by son, Robert Kinoshita; daughters, Amelia (Max) Tom, Harriett (Delmar) Schilling and Nancy (Peter) Abraham; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Theresa Zendejas
Theresa Perreira Zendejas, 88, of Pahoa, died May 20, 2022. Born in Honolulu, she represented the Blue Zones Project and other senior nutritional programs.
