Takamari “Taka” Fukunaga, 99, of Pahala, died Nov. 11, 2022 at K’au Hospital. Born in Napoopoo, Kona, on Sept. 15, 1923, he retired from Ka’u Agribusiness as a truck driver and was a member of the Pahala Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Pahala Senior Center.
