Cecilia Reveira

Cecilia Naves Reveira, 82, of Mountain View died Dec. 14, 2022, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Jan. 3 at Dodo Mortuary chapel; prayer service at 11. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. She is survived by children, Corliss (Carlos Arguinzoni-Gil) Rosario of Keaau, Alex (Terry) Reveira, Jr. of Washington, Vanessa (Shawn) Figeroa of Honolulu, Phyllis Fernandez of California, Timothy Reveira of Mountain View; sister, Vivian Rosario of Honolulu; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Henry Akona Jr.

Henry Goo Akona Jr., 86, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 16, 2022, at his residence. Born in Kailua-Kona on Nov. 15, 1936, he was a custodian for the Department of Education, a member of Hawaii Wood Turners Association and veteran of the Hawaii Army National Guard. Services will be held at a later date. He is survived by wife, Frances Akona of Kailua-Kona; sons, Henry Akona III of New York, New York, Andrew (Macie) Akona of Sacramento, California; daughter, Leilani (Kaipo Tomita) Akona of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
