Glenn Wayne Miles, 70, of Kailua-Kona, died Jan. 1, 2023, at his residence. Born Jan. 10, 1952 in California, he was an office manager for Grabber Kona and retired from Heritage Construction, and was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona and an AYSO Soccer Coach. Visitation will be held from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Feb. 18 at St. Michael Catholic Church; memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. He is survived by wife, Debra Miles of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Malia Miles of Kailua-Kona and Alysha (Joseph) Sizar of Hilo; sister, Carol (Reginald) Nolte of Texas; grandchildren; great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rita Gay Myhre, 80, of Keaau, died Nov. 18, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was a registered nurse and a coordinator of Shelter Service For Women in Santa Barbara, CA.
