Alfred Oliveira Jr.

Alfred C. “Junie” Oliviera Jr., 74, of Hilo, died Jan. 19, 2023. He was born May 14, 1948 in Hilo. A visitation will be held on Feb. 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at the chapel at Homelani Memorial Park with a burial to follow at 2 p.m. in Homelani Memorial Park. Leroy Andrade

Leroy William Andrade, 82, of Kailua-Kona, died Dec. 24, 2022 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Makawao, Maui on Aug. 12, 1940, he was a self-employed heavy-duty mechanic and welder, and an attendee at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Private services will be held at a later date. He is survived by daughters, Lorilei Andrade and Carrie (David) Mortensen, all of Hilo, Leeann Mokeau of Papaikou; son, Greg Andrade and brother, Robert Andrade, both of Hilo; sister, Sylvia (Gerry) Silva of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Dorothy Andrade of Naalehu; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl Andrade

Earl Nawailau Andrade, 60, of Middle Ke’ei, died Nov. 10, 2022 at home. Born in Kealakekua on Sept. 20, 1962, he was a heavy equipment operator for Cancino Farm, member of Operating Engineers Local 3 and Alan Andrade Sr. Landclearing. Celebration of life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at Cancino Farms located at Papa Bay Estates, South Kona. He is survived by brothers, Alan (Betty) Andrade of Middle Ke’ei, Dwayne (Melinda) Andrade of Ke’ei Beach; sisters, Dorothy (Konrad) Andrade-Wegner of Kealia and Dawn (Sione) Pala’imaea of Tonga; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
