In the first big event since COVID, kupuna from senior clubs around the island gathered Thursday for a Casino Day at Makaeo Pavilion at Old Kona Airport Park.
Kupuna played craps, roulette, poker, blackjack and more in a fun filled, no money exchanged morning in a Vegas styled atmosphere.
For many seniors who cannot afford to make a trip to the ninth island, the day gave them the experience of excitement, including a lunch provided by Sandy’s Drive In.
