Cal Ripkin League is a youth baseball organization which falls under the Babe Ruth League umbrella. Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken League uses larger fields than Little League baseball, and also operates under a different set of rules. The distance between bases is longer in Cal Ripken League than Little League, as well as the distance between the pitcher’s mound and the plate.
