Chrystal Melissa Arceneaux, 49, of Kailua-Kona, died on Sep. 15 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Orange, Calif., she was an office administrator and dispatcher for Kona Transportation Company, a retail salesperson for Jam’s World, customer service agent for Aloha Insurance and was in public relations for the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce. Services will be held at a later date. Survived by, husband, Damien Arceneaux of Kailua-Kona; mother, Anita Pierce of Kailua-Kona; father, Franklin Pierce of New Mexico; brother, Brandon (Lisa Ann) Pierce of Waipahu, Oahu; sister, Allison Pierce of Capt. Leonora Dacayanan

Leonora Dacayanan, 86, of Pepeekeo, died on Sept. 25 at home. Born in Hilo, she was Home Health Aide and a member of the Immacualate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. K) She is survived by son, Emil Dacayanan of Honolulu; daughters, Tesi Subica of Hawaiian Beaches, Lidia (Thomas Dela Cruz) Dacayanan and Melissa (Ryan) Dacayanan-Salvador of Pepe’ekeo, Priscilla (Jason Grouns) Dacayanan of Kea’au. Christalino Emeliano Jr.

Christalino Emeliano Jr., 72, of Ocean View, died on Sept. 19 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a self-employed commercial fisherman and an avid golfer. Private services will be held at a later date. Youichi Fujii

Youichi Fujii, 90, of Kealakekua, died on Sept. 4 at Fely’s Care Home. Born in Honalo, he was a coffee farmer. No services. Hisashi Fujimoto

Hisashi Fujimoto, 99, of Paauilo, died Sept. 25 at home. Born in Paauilo, he was a retired mechanic and bus driver for the former Fujimoto Super Service in Honokaa, an aikido instructor and a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. Visitation from 10–11 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 22) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; funeral service at 11 a.m.. Burial will take place at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2 at a later date. Cameron Hewines

Cameron Bruce Hewines, 75, of Waikoloa, died on Sept. 8 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hamilton, Canada, we was a retired director of sales for the Royal Kona Resort, a coordinator and chauffeur for Resorts Limousines and treasurer for Destination Kona Coast. Charles Kanoho, Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Luis Kanoho, Jr., 76, of Hilo, died Sept. 13 in Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a travel agent and tour guide for Tours by Charlie and a U.S Air Force veteran. Shizue Kotaki

Shizue Kotaki, 95, of Paauilo, died Sept. 14 at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Paauilo and was retired from the M. Nakahara Store and was also a member of the Paauilo Kongoji Mission. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 21) at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Sylvia Lincoln

Sylvia (Alisna) Lincoln, 82, of Kamuela, died on Sept. 27. She was born in Waipahu. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday (Oct. 20) at Kahilu Town Hall in Kamuela. Welcoming will start at 9 a.m. and services will be from 10-11 a.m. Luncheon will follow. She is survived by husband Elmo K. Donald Raymond Lorenzo, 86, of Hilo, died on Aug. 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pahala, he was a retired supervisor for the former Ka‘u Sugar Company and former tractor operator for the former Grassman Farms. Alfredo “Fred” Castor Salvador Sr., 92, of Kapaau, died on Sept. 1 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a retired park caretaker for Lapakahi State Historical Park and a member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the North Kohala Senior Citizens. Jerri Shimizu

Jerri Yoshimasa Shimizu, 74, of Hilo, died Sept. 15 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hilo Intermediate School teacher, worked for the former Go! Airlines, was an alumnus of Central Washington State University and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and its affiliate Hilo Hoyukai. Friends may call at 3 p.m. Oct. 24 at Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, 398 Kilauea Ave. for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire. No monetary gifts or flowers. Michael Spinelli

Michael Lee Spinelli, 47, of Kailua-Kona died on July 15 in Kealakekua. Born in New Jersey, he worked as a coffee farmer.
