Born in Honolulu, she was a retired manager of the Credit Bureau of Hawaii-Hilo and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Ikenobo Ikebana Society Honolulu Chapter, Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii and Panaewa Kumiai. Michael Y. Asada, 76, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, died November 5, 2023 in Renton, Washington. Born June 7, 1947, in Pu’unene, Maui, he retired from Hawaii Electric Company in customer service.
