Trump got nabbed for fraud but his partners in crime got away with it.
He lied about the value of his hotel. Trump telling a lie is no big news, he does it every day, but when banks are devious that is big news.
He took the fall when others involved committed worse fraud than he did.
Let Detective Dennis explain how Trump is the fall guy and the real baddies are the banks that went along with his crime, if it is a crime at all. Technically it was fraud, but the bank should have corrected him, not join him in a lie.
Here’s what happened. The Donald is accused of at least 2 counts of fraud. First, he told the bank that his hotel was worth billions of dollars when he knew it was only worth millions.
The kicker is, from the start the banker had to know exactly what his hotel was worth.
He could punch it up on his computer or call the property tax office and there it would be, yep, it’s worth a couple million bucks alright. Trump doesn’t make up what his hotel is worth, it’s determined by the going values in the neighborhood and other factors.
I might be missing something, but I know you can’t just make up figures in your head about your property. The banker tells you the figures, because they are on the computer screen.
You want a loan on your $100,000 house? Walk into the bank and tell them it’s worth 10 million and see what happens. They will tell you to leave and close your account.
So why did the bank go along with the billion dollar lie? Could it be they did it so they could give Donald a bigger loan to rake in big bucks on the interest. They went along for the money.
The bankers should be in court going to jail with Trump.
The next thing is he lied about the size of his hotel, saying it was bigger than it is.
A familiar lie but once again, the bank went along with it knowing there were blueprints showing the exact dimensions of his hotel. They could have called the planning department and checked the size of his building? For a 2 billion dollar assessment, you bet they checked.
They had to know Donald was fibbing, but the bigger the building, the more interest they get on the loan.
Banks were in on it but El Trumpo was the mastermind of the big scam.
Once again he pulled a fast one, just one more of his many bizarre antics we’ve had to endure.
He’s running for president again. What idiotic gall is that? He was impeached twice, he incited a deadly insurrection, undermined our democratic system, abused women and has been a constant pain in the rear for years.
Trump being the president of the United States of America again? You can’t be serious. The world is going through some heavy storms, do you want a nutcase at the wheel?
