The following is a schedule of upcoming military vehicle convoys this week from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor.

Motorists are asked to be advised of the following times and locations in order to plan their travel:

— 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae;

— 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Thursday, Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae;

— 8 a.m. on Sunday, Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae.

Convoy leaders will continually assess conditions and conduct pullover procedures on permissible straight-aways sections of the roadway to allow local residents the ability to bypass the convoy safely and reduce backed-up traffic, according to PTA.

The military appreciates the understanding and continued support of the Hawaii Island community.

“This training is critical to ensure military units and service members are ready to accomplish their mission and return home safely,” PTA stated.
