Ignacio “Chapo” Padilla Jr., 77, of Mountain View died Jan. 29 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Albuquerque, N.M., he was a retired U.S. Postal Service mail handler, retired U.S. Navy Vietnam-era radioman and member of Grace Believers. No services. Kazue K. Kaya

Kazue K. Kaya, 88, of Hilo died Dec. 25 at home. Born in Mountain View, she was a retired tour guide for the former Orchids of Hawaii and Kinipono Creations. Private services held.
