Regarding Old Kona Airport park

This is an embarrassment to Hawaii County.

One of the restroom facilities has been unusable for about four years, then the other one’s roof burns off 11 months ago, so it is unusable as well.

The mayor says our administration will continue to find ways to restore and maintain our critical parks infrastructure necessary for our residents’ health, safety and happiness … .

This begs the questions:

1. How “disappointing” is it really?

2. When does the “critical” part start?

3. When does the “continue” part start?

4. When does the “find ways” part start?

5. When does the “necessary” part start?

6. When does the “restore” part start?

7. When does the “health, safety and happiness” part start?

8. How did one roof that should cost about $100,000 (plus or minus) and two weeks (plus or minus) to replace become $750,000 and 11 months and counting to replace?

Last time I checked, those temp toilets were full and flowing on the ground.

So were the trash bins.

‘Donnie’s love for Vladdy’

A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Vladimir Putin. In the War of Vlad the Impaler’s Ego, hundreds of thousands of men are being sacrificed for liberating towns and villages that have nobody left living in bombed out shells of what were once homes.

Putin is isolated from everything happening in Ukraine, with the very minor exceptions of any perceived victories, such as liberating what used to be a town. What’s more, he doesn’t seem to care how many died and doesn’t care how many more will die to massage his massive ego.

Body bags aren’t flowing into Moscow or St. Petersburg, so those who support him are mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed what gets flushed down the toilet) and continue to support him.

Shortly before he had Alexi Navalny murdered in prison, Vlad banned the opposition party from running, knowing Navalny had quite a bit of support, and the thought of having it shown in any poll he wasn’t going to win in a landslide had to bother him terribly.

What’s also bad is because of little prince Donnie’s love for Vladdy, we’ve members of Incongruous who support Putin because of their idol.

While Trump’s motto seems to be Make America Great Again, what he is doing is exactly the opposite by handing us over to Russia.

As far as this Cold War veteran is concerned, any member of our government who supports a tyrannical dictator is un-American.

Trump is a power junkie and will stop at nothing to get it. Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet Union, and he’s prepared to have the United States attached to it.
